My name is Kaitlin. I'm from Potomac, Maryland where I grew up with my parents and older brother, Jack. Some things that I love are seafood, music, cats, and lying in a hammock on a sunny day.

 

Since I can remember, the experiences that have always excited me most in academic settings are those that involve communication with others. This includes not only writing, but opportunities to create art, present, perform, debate, and discuss. However, writing is special for me because it allows for drafts and editing, giving me the time to create sentences that are crafted perfectly for their intended meaning. I admire the beauty of language and love the process of aligning words so that they compliment one another while working together to present an idea. While pursuing the Minor in Writing, I am majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. To help reach my ultimate goal of a career in creative marketing, I look forward to building skills in persuasive communication, research-based analysis, and creative writing.
